My late parents knew the owners well for several years and I was introduced to them in the mid 1990s. Found this place here on tripadvisor as I work in the area and got convinced by the majorily positive reviews.Not sure what got into the pants of the one poor reviewer and those who only rated average, but this restaurant gets five stars simply for serving great food and having attentive service.The ambience is simple but the place is clean and tidy.It is frequented by many locals which adds to the feeling.The meat entries my wife and I had were succulent and delicious and the mains a blast for your tastebuds.Definitely will go there in the future!Highly recommended!!!
Visited for a weekday lunch after reading some really good reviews. We were greeted by the very friendly owner who helped us decide on the perfect meal. I wanted to try the masala dosa but also wanted to try other dishes. He suggested we go...the small size dosa and then we chose the chicken vindaloo and goat curry with rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious with loads of flavour and spices. Authentic Indian food, will definitely be going back again.
I have eaten dosa in Harris Park and Parramatta, but, they are mostly insipid and full of oil and other greasy stuff.Well now I am going out to Liverpool to enjoy an authentic, less oil and flaversome dosa.Rather than go on and on, i answer the standard questions :Was the dosa good? No it was great.Would I go there again - My word!Why not a five? The dosa came a little late after everyone had nearly finished their dosa.

I go to Woodlands regularly and always enjoy the friendly service and Indian cuisine. They do deliver, and I am always having dosa with a mango lassi.Eating in is best as dosas are crisp, fresh and a delight to eat when right off the hotplate.Over the years have eaten the idli, biryani, tandoori chicken and indian sweets and we keep coming back for more.Prices are reasonable and kids are welcome.
we went for lunch...we enjoyed the non veg thali they sever both north and south indian food ...many side dishes like plain rice, veg biryani, patato masala, veg kurma, green salad, mango pickle ,papad curd rice, butter chicken, mutton curry, they had option for of naan and mini dosa..it was worth it..reasonable price ...for sweet the had gulab Jammun which was so yummy...overall i liked it
Ordered food at 6.45 pm reminded them at 8.09 was told they had been to deliver absolute rubbish sat in front garden telephoned on its way again at 8.20 told not coming basically rude uninterested and bored staff quality fab when they can be bothered to deliver don't bother
been there twice in the last month. Ordered goat curry, chicken 65 , chicken korma, malabar fish and Dosa Goat Curry was good, fish was slightly underwhelming.Chicken 65 was ok. overall the food and service is nice and much of ambience though..

We've been coming here for year because their Masala Dosa is the best!! Other faves are the channa batura and vege thali. Staff are very friendly and we will continue to eat here as often as we can.
Went with a workmate. Plant based no problem. Servings were generous and low price. Service was timely without being super fast. Flavours were very good. Cant really go too wrong with this one.
