The homemade pickles were spoiled and made me feel ill; I spent an hour in the bathroom after eating what was the worst meal I've had in my 52 years! The place seemed to be run by a staff who either spoke Spanish or were Mexican, and they didn’t even seem to understand English. The owner of this restaurant was exceptionally rude. When I arrived, I overheard him threatening to hang up on customers who asked too many questions. The food was not only expensive but also cold and mediocre. I had called earlier to inquire about delivery and was told they were too busy, yet when I got there, only two tables were occupied. My biggest regret is that when he rudely informed me that my pickup order wasn't ready and claimed it would take 10 minutes—which was coincidentally how long it took me to get there—I didn't just walk out. The food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired. The staff display poor manners both on the phone and in person. It’s unfortunate because this place used to be one of the best delis in the five towns. It could regain that status if they would improve their attitude.
