We spent 2 nights at the inn with friends. What a wonderful time we had, all the staff were fabulous. All were very friendly and very attentive especially Richard. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be making a return visit. Food drinks: We had breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Everything we ordered was excellent, could not find fault with the service or the quality of the food. Also very well presented.
Food What a lovely Inn. Very quirky. Lovely beer garden. Very friendly staff. Food amazing. Steak served spot on, veggie antipasti and chicken skewers shared were so good. Blue cheese sauce that came with steak blew 9 year old away too full for deserts but they all looked amazing. Amazing tunes too! Glad we went for a wander. Thank you Food drinks: Reasonable prices. Came here for a last minute Sunday lunch. Though i didn't opt for the typical roast, i found the burger with chips very satiating. Friendly staff and an ambiance that was clean, inviting and relaxing. A stones throw from the infamous Wookey Hole attraction so you know where to go after the caves have worked up an appetite. Would recommend.
We felt welcome the minute we arrived. We had 3 comfy nights and enjoyed the food so much we didn't end up eating anywhere else in the evenings. It's an ideal base to explore the surrounding area (and of course the caves). Certainly a bit different to the chain hotel offerings but in a very good way. Stayed the weekend at this lovely Inn. Great service, fabuulous food, wonderful staff and it was really like staying with family. Will definitely come here again and recommend to anyone.
