Rather than wait in a depressing hospital lobby, I decided to enjoy coffee and a change of scenery at World Traveler Coffee nearby.The space is small, with seating for 10 people inside, and a couple of bistro tables outside to enjoy.I ordered the brown sugar cinnamon latte and the raspberry mousse.The latte was delicious! Not too sweet and lots of cinnamon.The raspberry mousse was a pleasant surprise. I had imagined it to be a sponge cake and fruit reduction type of pastry but it turns out it's a raspberry sorbet encased in whipped cream and a white chocolate shell. It 's such a sweet little coffee shop with delicious smooth coffee. After searching for coffee places that were not the mainstream Starbucks kind in this area, I found this gem. I ordered a latte and a chocolate eclair and was simply delighted. The eclair was just perfect creamy, crunchy, and not overly sweet . I came here for an espresso and a late. The espresso was medium roasted and bit on the nuttier side with the taste. It's kind of medium on dark and light roast taste and not one or the other. It is balanced, but not dynamic. I like light roast dynamic and acidic tasting espressos and this place didn't have that special taste. It's good, but not special.The late was good, too. The almond milk late and art on it was good.The place looked bright, well light, and clean to me.The service was great and prompt. The barista was knowledgeable about the coffee that he has and how it will taste.
Lovely little shop with rich, delicious coffee. I went just a they were opening and was greeted and served by a lovely woman. She found out I was visiting the area and gave quite the shout out to Roseville and Rocklin. She was very welcoming to this weary traveler. More importantly the coffee was fantastic. The absolute best shots I’ve ever had in California. I’m from Washington so I’m used to locally owned specialty coffee and Starbucks is not it! The shots they pull are perfect. Extra friendly and attentive staff. Love the coffee bag decor and large coffee grinder. Fresh, friendly, unique. This will be my spot any time I’m in the area.
Lovely small spot for specialty coffee and sweet treats. Pour overs are done right. Very friendly staff that seem to work like a great team. Helpful to people in front of us that needed some recommendations and explanations. I'm sad that we're just traveling through and can't make this a regular stop!
Their mochas are fantastic, great flavors, and the mousse was unlike anything I've had. A wonderful mixture of flavors. With friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere, I'll definitely be coming back
