Called off in the campervan 3 days ago for fish and chips for myself and my 10yr old son. The fryer was chatty and polite, but unfortunately the fish AND chips where absolutely vile, chips barely warm, and the fish... Well... I honestly have never tasted a fish so disgusting in my 47 years of being alive!! The batter was absolutely soaked in fat to the point every bite I had to wipe my lips, after 3 bites I removed the batter and I could jot believe it, even the fish inside was absolutely soaked with fat, my son left 3/4 of his chips and 90% of his fish, it was not edable at all. I pushed my fork down in the batter and fat just poured out. Never again will I eat from here. A really shame as...
This place use to be gorgeous when the couple from oxenhope ran it Called in this evening, didn’t even know it had changed owners What an absolute pile of cra*, disgusting, fish must had been sat for hours, soggy batter, greasy chips, bright green peas almost neon) took a spoonful to try they had the most disgusting taste, and so thick you could have almost cut it. They went on the bin, would never waste my money by going here again! next time crossroads chippy which is gorgeous)!is closed I’ll make do with beans on toast, would have been tastier and cheaper! Save your money! Avoid!!!
We recently tried the fish and chips at Worth Valley Fisheries and were incredibly impressed. The fish was perfectly cooked, moist, and not dried out, while the batter was crispy and cooked all the way through with no soggy spots. Delivery through Just Eat was fast, and the food arrived hot. This was definitely the best fish and chips we've ever had.

New management same excellent standard. This is our fish shop when visiting KWVR Steam Railway. Beautiful good piece of fish and lovely chips. Fish crispy batter. An absolute gem. Don't be put off by small size. The locals know it's the best in the area.
The chips were terrible, they were stale, rock hard, and inedible! Some of the fish bites were undercooked, while the others were definitely old and shriveled up. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Disgusting.
Delivery time was ridiculous. Order missing multiple items. Far too greasy and the delivery driver smelt awful and looked/drove like he was drunk. Will not go again.

I ordered at 5.30 using uber eats. Still hadnt arrived by 8pm. They wouldnt pick up the phone nor provide a new delivery time. Waste of damn time.
