We came baxk after Covid quarantine to find a queue a mile long. The owner was cooking, fish was scalding hot and in the large and small portion, generously weighed and fried to perfection, the quality of the fish is again the best creamy taste. The chips are back to being savoury, meaty and delicious crispy taste, not too oily or soft and soapy as last time. So glad to see this shop fight off the threat of closure, improve back to it's original quality. I just hope the owner takes his time to train all staff how to cook everything as well as he does, crispy, hot and delicious. I think it sums up how popular this chip shop is, by the queues, not only during the day but in the evening too. The whole place looks spotlessly clean and the staff get through the queues quickly whilst remembering everyones orders which always amazes me. The chips are delicious, better than any of the other chip shops in Ware. Always piping hot and the chips are always big proper chips, not full of the small crispy ones which I do not like. They are cooked to perfection and the cod is a good size too. They also have a buy one get one free on a Tuesday for cod and chips which is amazing value. The staff are lovely and engage with the customers.
My partner and I were out shopping in Manchester and started to feel hungry. We came across this chippy and decided to give it a try. After a long day of shopping, we were pleasantly surprised by the modern and clean establishment, the friendly staff, and most importantly, the delicious Fish and Chips. In my opinion, it's the best Fish and Chips in Manchester. I will definitely be returning to this great chippy whenever I visit Manchester, I highly recommend it.
Me and the family made use of the Tuesday special deals. 2 medium cod and chips for the price of 1. The chips were delicious and the fish flakey and fresh. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was fine and the chips were okay. However, the fishcake I ordered for my child was cold in the middle and overcooked on the outside, so I didn't feel comfortable serving it to him. The saveloy for my father was also cold. Overall, the quality of the food has really deteriorated.
