We drove up to Hilo from Kona for the night to go to this restaurant. It’s about 1 hour and 50 minutes. We are flying back to Maryland tomorrow. The night started off great. We are extremely patient people because we have both owned restaurants. Extremely patient. Everything was great and then more tables started coming in. We got our appetizer which was good. They brought one salad when we had ordered 2 but we didn’t make a big deal of it. My husband had ordered a glass of wine and wanted another but the waitress did not come back to the table for a long time. Our soup arrived within 10-15 minutes, and it was hot and delicious. About 25 minutes later, we noticed a waiter going around to some tables near us, handing out small baskets of bread. He only offered it to certain tables, and we found ourselves wondering if we would receive some as well, since we definitely would have accepted. We waited for him to return so we could ask, but he never came back to our area. We tried to get our waitress's attention, but she was busy with the larger party. Finally, our food arrived. we arrived on time, but did not get a table through the window as desired. my reservation was made online with this special request. I said there were no tables, but as we went in there were two or three tables on the windows that were empty. After we had set ourselves, the receptor was sitting others who came to us in the tables. we also had to wait about 15 minutes before a waitress picked up our order. therefore the low number of points overall and service. the eating and the ambiente were scored far above the service and the very unfriendly and discourageable recipeist.

The service was pleasant. The kitchen was really backed up which happenes however we watched table after table be seated and you could tell everyone was drowning. It took 3 hours for apps and a main course. The food was over cooked but our waitress took care of us. really cool restaurant with great drinks. we went to silvester, the only possibility for eating was a buffet. full lobster, prime rib, whistle, garnel and other seafood were offered for $120 each. I think it wasn't worth it, but I don't like a lobster. the main rib was very fat and chewing. I would like to have the opportunity to order the regular menu, as it looked amazing.

On August 19, 2023, I celebrated my 23rd anniversary with my family. We left the CheeHoo Festival early to have dinner at WSW. The young gentleman at the front desk greeted me by my name, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name.

everything was amazing! the party gift was a nice additional note. my 11 years old wanted meeresfruit for new years, so was wsw or choice. the personal also treated my son great. that's important to me. many thanks for a beautiful New Year dinner!

Gapseongbi is amazing! It’s a fantastic spot where a family of three can enjoy plenty of steak for about 100,000 won!
