This was our first time trying hot pot, and I realized that we might have been adding all the ingredients at once, which isn’t how it’s usually done. However, our overall experience was outstanding—11 out of 10! It was fantastic. When I accidentally spilled some water, staff members quickly surrounded me with napkins and helped in a non-intrusive way, which I truly appreciated. Xiang Hotpot is a fantastic destination for hotpot enthusiasts. The restaurant boasts a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The extensive selection of fresh ingredients and flavorful broths resulted in a truly delicious meal. From the tender beef to the fish paste and fresh vegetables, every dish was impressive. The staff were courteous and attentive. The decor was lovely and intricately designed, creating a charming ambiance reminiscent of strolling through an ancient street in Asia. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, Xiang Hotpot is definitely worth a visit, and I would happily return!
This restaurant is quite spacious, with plenty of tables available. During our visit, we noticed some tables in separate rooms hosting birthday parties. We chose two different soup bases: Beef and Tomato. You can customize the spice level according to your preference; we opted for mild spiciness for the beef broth, which included a bear-shaped sauce base. However, it ended up being too spicy for me, although my friends really enjoyed it. The portions of vegetables and meats were generous, so be careful not to overorder. I had my first hotpot experience in Flushing, and I absolutely loved it! Although we had to wait over 30 minutes, it was definitely worth it. The lighting set a perfect atmosphere for our meal. We ordered the mushroom broth and the beef oil broth, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed (take a look at the pictures below!). The food came out quickly once we placed our order, and it was delicious, especially with their impressive sauce bar. I can't wait to go back when we're in the area again!

The hostess was wonderful—friendly and very attentive. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the 7 train Flushing station. The food was decent, but you have to cook it yourself. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor. It was slow, unresponsive, and the staff was rarely present. I don’t think I can return because of the service issues. If you decide to visit, be prepared for painfully slow service. Get ready for the wait!
