Having been introduced (only this Summer) by friends to this lovely little Xiringuito (which means beach bar/restaurant in Catalan),I can only say my visits have always been very welcoming.It is family run they have been operating for the last 7 years,of course only during the summer season.They do lovely grilled fresh sardines mussels,which always goes down well with an ice cold glass of white wine,as well as tapas normal kiddie type food.(Their house wine is local comes from the nearby Terra Alta wine region) The food drinks are not cheap but are reasonable.Very little English is spoken,but you will get by,so do not be afraid to visit if you have very little Spanish or Catalan.The benefit...
This is based on the main beach and so has a steady flow of customers. Often such places have no need to be too worried about high standards as the turnover is transient and high. We had lunch drinks here twice. The salads are very generous and freshly plated. We had the grilled sardines and the fried baby squid which were both delicious! The service is good and tho few English words the menus have English translations and the requisite tourist spot pictures. For a beach cafe it is a good one.
Hemos venido aquí a comer por cercanía y por las reseñas, pedimos ensalada verde, que estaba buena, Tellinas, ración grande, boquerones fritos y jamón con pan con tomate. Estaba lleno pero no tuvimos que esperar, no sé si harán reservas, todo bueno . Si volvería si me pilla por la zona otra vez
He comido en este chiringuito y me ha encantado, los precios como cualquier sitio de playa, pero el servicio muy bueno, Joel super servicial y educado, tengo intolerancia a la lactosa y se preocupo en mirar los ingredientes de los postres. Volveré sin dudarlo. Servicio y calidad espectacular!!
De vacaciones en Bénicarlo estábamos de visita en La Rapita y nos topamos con este pequeño restaurante de playa y decidimos parar a tomar algo y comer algo y nos fue bien porque la comida es muy buena con una vista preciosa que es muy agradable. lo recomiendo
Excelente chiringuito, la mejor atención: Joel y Joelcito,super atentos, agradables y te hacen sentir en casa. Si te gustan los Mojitos, aquí encontrarás el mejor Mojito de la Rapita. Te alquilan las tumbonas para la playa, sin duda, muy completo y excelente
El mejor chiringuito de la playa del Garbí, que gran descubrimiento!! Lo mejor el buen ambiente y la atención de Jose (medio madrileño). Sin duda repetiremos siempre a nuestra vuelta.
Perfecto tipico chiringuito de playa. Personal muy simpático...sardinas y los mejillones entre otras cosas....friquísimo
La comida super buena y el trato del camarero com el clíente muy familiar. Perfecto sitio.
