Was pleasantly surprised to actually find a fish and chips shop open on a Sunday evening. The small portion was very generous when compared with the other fish and chip shop situated on the main street.(which I have to say were rubbish) Fish, chips, mushy,peas, scraps, tomato sauce and a cuppa tea were absolutely first class.Would definitely be a regular visitor, whenever I 'm passing. Well done.
We always go to Scott’s when we’re in the area. Fantastic food, well cooked, good sized portions and the staff are brilliant. Carole served us tonight. Her customer service was second to none. I would highly recommend a visit. It’s great reputation does make it busy at times but it’s well worth the wait.
Asked for bottled water and got tap water from a jug and was asked to pay for bottled water when got the bill and was served a very raw chip, not the usual standard I've had in the past, or got any apology, left feeling totally dissatisfied.
Waited a long time for undercooked chips, refund given along with apology. Cook was questioned about the undercooked chips by the manager, shame this is the only chippy open on a lunchtime in Helmsley Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My mum said best fish and chips she had had for a long time!, praise indeed!,Enjoyed my curry and chips too, sat inside the cafe nice and cosy on a cold October day
Such variety of things you can't get elsewhere and wonderful fresh deli food. I always go ore Christmas too for out of the ordinary presents
Nice food apart from the mushy peas Which you could build a wall with instead of concrete
