Thank you! This is a fantastic little sushi spot! I highly recommend stopping by for some delicious food at great prices. My first experience with Agedashi Tofu was amazing—it was so flavorful and incredibly tasty! While the Edamame was a bit too salty for my liking, the Dynamite Roll, Inari Roll, and Salmon Roll were all excellent. The Tamagoyaki and Inari Roll were exceptional as well! Although there are no brown rice options available, it wasn't a major issue. The staff is wonderful—very friendly and accommodating, and they even have high chairs for little ones. The Alaska roll is delicious, though it differs from the traditional version that typically features salmon, avocado, and onion sauce. This version includes crab meat and is topped with smoked salmon. The chicken karaage is outstanding—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. However, the portions of half-spicy salmon sashimi are relatively small compared to other restaurants. Our server was very friendly and attentive!
I’ve been enjoying Yama Sushi for years, and it’s definitely superior to most other options out there. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are fantastic. The sushi is incredibly delicious and expertly made; it holds together well and isn’t mushy, contrary to what I’ve seen in some other reviews. I highly recommend the sushi special—22 pieces for just $10!
Lynn Valley presents a wonderful dining option with this restaurant. It sets itself apart from the usual experience with its prompt service, cleanliness, and affordable prices, ensuring great value for your money. The prices for the food, which range from $12 to $14, are very reasonable. It seems to be mainly a takeout place. I almost chose not to go because of its small size and the fact that it was empty, but I'm really glad I decided to give it a try. I highly recommend the Chicken Kutsu Don, and I will definitely be returning!
The sushi I ordered was poorly prepared, with the rice overcooked and the presentation lacking. I also noticed that the kitchen was quite dirty, and the restroom was in similarly bad condition. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates cleanliness and good flavor!
What a fantastic place! It's very cozy and has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. I believe it's run by a family, which adds to its charm and intimacy. The food is excellent, and my daughter absolutely loves it when I take her there for dinner.
