This establishment was not to my liking. Food was not bad, but essentially mediocre. I ordered miso ramen. Broth was okay. The noodles were nothing special. The pork (not chashu) had a strange texture. We had takoyaki appetizer, and that was okay. Service was relatively slow. It's a small operation, and as near as I could see there are only three staff. I believe that is why things were slow. Perhaps there are so few Japanese restaurants in the immediate vicinity (northern Westchester) that locals like this place. We have been looking for an authentic Japanese place for a long time. We found it! Small, family-run place. We went with friends who used to live in Japan. They saw a dish they said they had not seen on a menu in the US and last ate 20 years ago in Japan. Absolutely amazing in every way. Anything you order, to go or dine in, will be delicious (the shoyu ramen is so good) and with that you receive amazing service. The owners are such down to earth people and are always incredibly kind. Perfect place, definitely check it out. I love that this restaurant is family owned, the service is great, very friendly and professional. And the sushi is always good. (California roll) I wish there was more of a drink/wine selection but either way its a great place to eat!Food: 5/5
