My partner and I reserved a table for tonight for our anniversary. We had our first date here and it was lovely so we thought it would be nice to have our first anniversary here too. We arrived to a closed restaurant, completely in dark and no one around. My reservation wasn't cancelled, nobody contacted me to say that the restaurant was closed, there was no notes on the door as to why the restaurant was closed at 7:30pm on a Wednesday, and I've traveled for an hour to come here from South Bermondsey. I mean, I get it if there was like no staff to work or whatever, but at least cancel people's reservations??? Leave a note on the door of why you are closed??? There was nothing on the website...
During a recent visit, we found that the heating wasn't on during the cold snap, as it seems it’s not worth it for Sundays. The menu displayed in the window was outdated, which was frustrating; we wouldn’t have entered had we known that the dishes I was looking for were off the menu. There wasn't enough effort made to clarify the gluten-free options for me. Additionally, the bartender wore noisy shoes, which added to the overall annoyance as we heard the clattering every time he walked by. Overall, it was a frustrating and unpleasant experience, and we won’t be returning. Dietary restrictions: Confusing and undeclared allergens.
I ordered the chef's homemade bean burgers with wedges and freshly squeezed lemonades. The service was incredibly friendly. The interior was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and artwork, and it was spotlessly clean and air-conditioned. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a fantastic five-star restaurant in a small town like Idaho City. I only wish we had saved room for dessert, as it looked incredible! This has quickly become my new favorite spot for a nice dinner at a great price. Food rating: 5 out of 5.
Very disappointing- our starters came relatively quickly but then we waited an hour and a half for our main course. I would kind of understand it if we were a large table but there was only two of us. When it finally arrived it was luke warm and distinctly average. Firstly amazing customer service, friendly, gave acknowledgement and very professional. I loved that they had music playing in the background and the food was very delicious. The atmosphere very warm and inviting, tables not to close to each other. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, definitely coming back again with a few more friends Service: Dine in
