I really do not understand the high ratings for this restaurant. I was looking to have a chinese meal for some time and this is not too far away. I never booked in advance and we were grateful to get a table. The two waitresses were very helpful and luckily did not have to wait that long between courses. The banguets are very limited as there is not much choice however they ageed to change our main course. NOW for the food, does the chef even taste what he produces, the chicken and sweetcorn soup was heavily flavoured with sugar, probably the worst I have ever had in any chinese restaurant, the ribs were hard with a extremely salty coating, they were awful, these were not freshly made. again another fantastic meal from yang xing restaurant in duke street, could not recommend enough to always enjoy fantastic friendly staff. if I could give more than 5 stars, then this restaurant would get it
You can't knock this place. Good value for money. The food is red hot in temperature. Plates are warmed. Good service. Draught Sun Lik lager on tap. Good sized portions.
