Went for lunch on the terrace on a beautiful Saturday. Great atmosphere, our waitress Shauna was fantastic.Food was not good sadly. I had the fish n chips. It's a big boy, but it's 80% batter. The batter is so thick, that the inside doesn't cook properly and just ends up being mushy. Flavor wasn't special either. I wasn't the only one who didn't enjoy the fish n' chips as I saw somebody else who ordered it barely even touch it before he returned it. Also had nachos and wings, it wasn't anything special.Summary:Come here for great vibes and good beer specials. But don't order the fish n chips, or maybe don't even eat here
ye old orchard pub im pointe claire village seems to be a very popular pub among the locals. definatley a family affair and ursache every time I was, seems like everyone knows each other. very popular at west island. eating is moderate, but a little on the expensive side for this type of pub food, which is at best standard. I've patterned the fish and chips and found that the teig was soggy and bland. the atmosphere is festive, but they go early to secure a seat or they can wait for one. good place to cool with the youngs and have some ale and ghost. the little town has the feeling.
love them ye old orchard! my friends and I go to dinner and drink quite regularly. we can always count that eating is great and receive excellent service. They have large animals on hahn and a fairly large selection of scotches behind the bar. I recommend it to anyone looking for a casual dinner with a big atmosphere.
Great Sunday lunch! The terrace is perfect outside. Nice and covered with trees. The staff was super nice. Food was exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a great pub.
