I cannot recommend Yelida Bakes enough! Yelida and her team made a gorgeous cake for our little girl’s baby shower, and also for our gender reveal a few months prior! It’s a testament to how delicious her cakes are—we are repeat customers, and will be again—but we also wanted her to make our cake because she did a fantastic job last year for my sister-in-laws gender reveal and baby shower cake as well! I’ve already had inquiries from others about who made the cake—they loved it and want their own too! Yelida was accommodating when I had a million and one details I wanted on the cake…and she far surpassed my expectations! Her beautiful cake was a highlight of our day, and the woodland animals...
I'm very disappointed! My husband picked up the cake I ordered and the cake was decorated as if a 6 year old child did the writing on the cake. I will no longer recommend or make any purchases.From my understanding the cake was $55 for custom decorations. I also purchased a slice, and was told there would be a discount if paid in cash. I called about my disappointment and yes was told to bring it back, unfortunately I don't live around the corner so it was not really an option for me. I had a lengthy discussion about what I was looking for so there should not have been any confusion.
I ordered a custom cake from Yelida Bakes and it exceeded my expectations! The cake looked exactly like the photo I provided, if not better. The icing was incredibly smooth (not fondant like I requested), the handmade decorations and flowers were elegant, and the intricate pipework was expertly done. I was so impressed that I will only be ordering cakes from Yelida Bakes in the future. Additionally, it's a small, locally-owned business, so I am happy to support them.
I visited this restaurant on Thanksgiving and was impressed by their kindness and attentiveness. I ordered two pineapple cakes, which were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be ordering from here again.
I purchased two premade cakes and they were fresh and delicious. It is the best Dominican cake in New Jersey! Additionally, the prices were very affordable and the staff was very accommodating. I got both pineapple and guava flavors and they were both excellent.
We ordered a cake for my baby it’s cold outside themed baby shower and she made it exactly like i wanted it. The cake tasted as good as it looked. Everyone at the baby shower loved the cake. Would def recommend purchasing a cake from here.
This bakery serves an excellent Dominican cake that is very delicious. We went last minute to get a cake and were treated beautifully by the staff. The cake was amazing and delicious. I highly recommend it, 10/10.
