Typical soul less restaurant, focused all on looks, rather than substance. The place itself is fairly nice and stylish, especially around the bar area, but that’s pretty much where the positives end, for me. The menu offers a relatively small selection of dishes, including a bit of everything (which I always think is a bad sign), from mussels and oysters to lamb stew, and seems to have been put together with no rationale behind whatsoever. My partner and I ordered a baked goat cheese which had a thick and slightly soggy breaded coating that made me think it had been frozen, and added nothing to the taste, and was served with bits of nuts and flavourless pear and a ham hock terrine as a start...
I had Christmas dinner at this restaurant with my coworkers, and it was truly disappointing. The smoked salmon starter consisted of only five small slices of warm smoked salmon on a plate with some dill and a bland sauce. The main course was a strange disc-shaped lump of lamb with an odd consistency, served on a thin layer of mashed potatoes. The chocolate mousse dessert tasted and had the texture of Angel Delight. The portions were very small, and I ended up wanting toast when I got home. The total cost was £55. The service was inconsistent, and there was a bizarre incident where a waiter served a shandy in a wine glass, claiming it was a new beer glass. Overall, it was a strange dining exp...
If I could rate this zero I would. Booked this for a special Xmas dinner with my family. They scammed us by taking our deposit before then not taking it off the final bill for the Xmas dinner. We had to follow up continually after the holidays, they also charged us an optional tipping amount without our knowledge. I could forgive all of this if dinner was delicious but no it was so bad, missing most of what was promised and totally inedible... would not recommend on a good day much less on such a special occasion. Shame on the management of this place.
Food is ok, nothing too special. I have to say that the two stars for the service are only for the curly-haired guy. He was truly lovely and professional. I cannot say the same about the girl, who was rude and arrogant without any reason. It is not my problem if you hate your job. First of all, you should at least now the services that you offer. Not to mention that when clients even tell you that they have to pay some additional stuff you should be thankful that they do not want to cause any trouble.

I am sorry to write this as I am sure they are all very nice people, BUT the service was non existent: had to ask for menus 3x, had to ask for our food, had to ask for our sides (2x) wine (2x) and check (3x again) The food was Awful. Oddly spiced luckily there wasn’t much of it! The puddings lovely but I don’t normally go for a pudding. The music was great! Sadly not enough of an incentive to return.
5 stars. Lovely restaurant with attentive staff and delicious food. Beautiful decor and the Christmas decorations are subtle but pretty. It wasn't very full which we were quite surprised about as the whole experience was lovely. We went for dinner and drinks. The desserts are big so I would share in future but everything else is just enough to fill you up.
Control was nice at first, but when you're appointed that you have reserved through the fork, you're suddenly treated very differently. Suddenly they're not so nice anymore! Food was moderate, not very special.
Was here as part of a work Christmas party. Food was great and the service from staff was outstanding.
