Yoko, the restaurant, is small, unassuming, traditional and high quality - just like the owner. Yoko, the person, is a lovely, friendly Japanese lady who serves her (French, trained in Japan) husbands Japanese dishes every midday except Monday and Friday and Saturday nights.The food is very good. A "plat du jour" which changes every day is excellent value. The sushi, chirashi, seaweed salade, tempura... everything is amazingly good and freshly made to order. It takes time to eat here as everything is made when you order it.The iced tea is wonderful in summer. If I could eat here every day I would.
Thanks to good quality ingredients and a clear sensitivity of the chef to detail, Yoko offers authentic Japanese cuisine with a rare gustative balance, concerning taste as notes. I was surprised by the delicateness of katsu donate, light and perfectly balanced thanks to the intelligent acidity of the sauce. I've been living in Cagnes-sur-Mer for 20 years, and it's the first time I get satisfied with a restaurant. I was also convinced by the prices, very honest compared to what is in the vicinity. I'll be back soon to find out more about the map.
Food is quite good and tastes very authentic and super fresh.However the wait completely ruined the evening. We arrived at 8:15 and got our food at 10:05 !!!We were expecting to wait but not that long ...If you are super patient, go ahead the food is probably worth it but you'll have to be SUPER PATIENT ...
This is the greatest place I ate Japanese food since Japan. Home made food made by Japanese staff. Only bad point is that you'll have to wait a bit, but definitely worth!

The dish is good. But service is too long. Two hours for a complete menu.
