We hadn't made a reservation and arrived at 5:45 PM. This visit was with my partner, and it was a 1 hour and 45-minute drive, but I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly, and everything was freshly cooked. It seems they use vegetable oil instead of a fryer, or at least their oil is very clean. Surprisingly, this was the best deep-fried food I've ever had! However, the spicy sauce was a bit sweet and lacked heat. It would be great if there were options to choose the spice level, from mild to very hot, especially for those who love spicy food. That said, the sauce complements almost everything perfectly. The atmosphere created by the staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and vibrant. The food was absolutely outstanding! I usually approach new restaurants with some caution, but this place truly surpassed my expectations! The chicken ramen was fantastic! Along with the marinated beef, chicken, katsu curry rice, and sushi—everything was delicious. The little BBQ cooking experience was also a charming touch. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable! Everything was wonderful. I will definitely return. Thank you for your amazing hospitality and delicious food!
I was pleasantly surprised! I had lunch with some friends, and I must say it was really good. We nearly finished everything we ordered, including the Korean BBQ, sushi, and fried chicken. The food was delicious, and the service was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The only thing this place could improve on is the ambiance; a better presentation would enhance the experience. Overall, it was a great outing!
I’m so glad that we came to this amazing Korean spot. The food is DELICIOUS! We ordered Korean fried chicken, toppokki, bbq set, chicken sushi , prawn tempura and please please and please get some Peach Soju. The service was amazing, Libby took care of us and made sure that we would have a full experience when teaching us how to properly enjoy the Korean bbq. I’ll will be back for sure. Food was really nice not to spice with loads of different flavours in it. They also give us spice sauce if we want to make it much more spice. Restaurant was fully packed so booked the table before you go. Price's are like everywhere else around £10-£15 so thats not so bad for 3rd best rated restaurant on trip advisor. I will go 100% back to try more food from their menu and also sake
Been coming here years. The owner is super friendly and the food is incredible. I wouldn’t normally leave reviews, but feel I should here. If you’re thinking of going just go. very friendly staff, eating was quickly prepared and filled. good quality of choice of food for all people and their tolerances. go here for a traditional taste of Japanese/Korea food. Very nice and cosy Korean restaurant, beautiful atmosphere and very polite and caring staff. The food was flavourful and very large portions, good value for money. Fried chicken starter number 17 on menu was absolute star of the night, don’t miss out on that!
