This place has easy potential to be a 5 star restaurant but it has one big very important hinderance.....the smell. We got sat right away but we're left for about 7-8 minutes before our waitress finally came over. The food selection was great, and they have a good amount of rolls that do not use a bunch of immigration crab as filler which is sometimes a lazy way to create some sushi rolls. Their Kin roll was amazing and they also have a few bento boxes you can choose from. The main deterrents was mediocre service which I can let slide, but what is way harder to ignore was the smell of musty old kitchen towels and dirty cleaner. I've been to Kin Sushi twice now and I really enjoyed it. The service is friendly and efficient. I asked if they offered Omakase and after checking with the chef they said yes and provided me with a price. They have Omanake choices of different sizes and I selected the 12 piece. Every bite was fresh and tasty. I especially enjoyed the Hokkaido scallop with truffle. My only complaint is that the play cable news on their TV. It's a bummer to watch that while you're eating. I had to ask to sit at a booth instead of the bar so I wasn't facing the TV.

Had the lunch bento box (tempura and Alaska roll) and premium roll (fat roll) with sushi combo. Total for 2 people came out to $40 without tip. The rolls are really good, but the nigiri was just ok. Vegetables in tempura were also undercooked. Would come back only because lunch prices are cheap. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Best sushi place in the area! Take a seat at the bar and ask for Lucky or Ono what’s special fish of the day. Our experience here was supreme. Food coming out fast and fresh. Service is on par. Check came out with surprising low than what we expect! Highly recommend: Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

They have the freshest fish in the area. This is really my only criterion for a sushi place. Everywhere different things seem to be done in the sauce, which is good, but somehow misses the point. They are also super friendly, which is a huge plus.

Finally I found a place with a sushi roll similar to Vancouver's dynamite roll... 1000 oak roll. In a bento box with beef teriyaki.

Great spot. Fresh and all waitress are very attentive. My once a week spot. Fresh fish. , hot sake , and cold beer. All you need.
