I had to wait 25 minutes to be seated (even though no one else arrived and they don't like starting hibachi until the table is somewhat full) and the food was extremely overpriced. The restroom had broken faucets, outdated decor, smaller portion sizes compared to other restaurants, and they were charging prices akin to fancy high-end establishments. On top of that, they added an extra 3% charge for using a credit card. I was not impressed. The bill for myself and one kids meal came to over $80 (not including tip and credit card fee).
we were here twice lately and both of us were worth sharing. our first visit we were the only people in the restaurant, so the personal interaction was really fun. our children were surprised and a bit afraid of the great flame we often laugh about. now they look forward to it and the wobble volcano. our second visit was Valentine's Day and the place was packed, but we still had the same attention and fun time. I am a little addicted to the garlic, so amazing! I am so glad that we have such a fun and a delicious place close to home!
After reading the reviews, I was hesitant about dining at this restaurant. However, we were invited to a birthday celebration and decided to give it a try. To our surprise, we were quite impressed. The food, which included soup, salad, and dessert, was excellent. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The cook show was also entertaining. Although the restaurant was not fancy and the seating around the cook area was small, the quality of the food made up for it. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience.

We sooooo wanted this to be close to our old Kampai. Salad and soup was lame. Shrimp and steak tasted okay. But the chef cooked everything so fast our food was piled on our too small of a plate. I ordered an extra egg sauce for my filet and it was the first thing he cooked so it sat on my plate. How goofy was that!? We won’t be back. Meal type: Dinner
The service was good the food was bad small portions, veditables were mostly onions. Very disapointing the chairs cushions are flat like sitting on a board the restaurant in need of remodeling. Absolutely love this place! Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The best part is the craftsmanship of the rolls the chefs really know what they're doing. My wife and I usually go on the all you eat days because it's just so darn good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. With an average price range of $30–50 per person, the food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the Garlic Shrimp, Chicken Stir Fry with Fried Rice, and Chicken Teriyaki dishes.

I dine in this great restaurant a lot! that is the best place to eat. I'll go there at least once a month. cooking is of high quality, the crew is helpful and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy having a decent meal at this place.
