We had eaten at Yumi’s before so I made reservations there for our anniversary dinner. We arrived 15 minutes early and were asked to wait when there clearly was a two person table open. We were ushered to that table several minutes after our reservation time despite the fact it was open all that time. They were very busy but our waiter was very friendly. After we were served and started to eat we realized that we had the order from the table next to us. We never did get what we ordered but were not charged the difference. The whole evening experience soured our impressions a place we used to love.
I’m consistently impressed whenever I visit Yumi! Be sure to try the specials. This lively spot has truly transformed Excelsior; everyone is now a sushi fan! It’s such a wonderful addition to the city. I plan to visit Yumi every time I’m in town, and I went there tonight. We enjoyed the Tuna Crispy Rice appetizer, along with the Tonka Roll and a special K Pop Roll for the evening. As a devoted sushi lover and with my father being a newcomer to sushi, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. You really can't go wrong with anything you order!
The sushi was fantastic! However, the staff could improve their engagement with guests. We only saw our waitress when she took our order and again to collect our credit card, but there was no communication in between. More interaction would enhance the overall experience.
The sushi were very yummy. We had the Mexican, lollipop, and one more. The prices are a bit high but the sushi pieces are very big. We got three rolls for three people and we were full. I highly recommend this place for some crazy rolls. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I was so excited to eat the food here that I forgot to take photos of the sushi rolls, sashimi and tako salad. Excellent food and service. We'll be back soon and I'll remember taking photos before we dig in.
