It IS a little expensive for a food like Tteokbokki, which is supposed to be snack food, but they do fill you up really fast and portion is adequate. Ordered tteokbokki with added Chinese noodles (the really wide, clear ones), assorted fries, and Tuna Mayo Jumbo Rice. For the main tteokbokki, I ordered mild but it was still a bit spicy for others in my party. It was good. Every time I order from here the flavor is consistent, which is nice. Came here on a Tuesday and I made a reservation but it was actually empty so they didn 't even look at my reservation. We came in a group and 3 and it was not enough people for one Yupduk my friend and I took the leftovers home and we ended up eating it for 3 more meals.I love the duk in these bowls, it 's so perfectly chewy and so different from other korean restaurants and the ones you get at Hmart. Also the spice level is insane, I 'd always get mild or extra mild one time we got the medium and I think it 's genuinely spicier than Samyang Spicy Noodles : ' ' '
Being an avid foodie and mukbang watcher, I was on the hunt for a good tteok-bokki and let me tell you..Yupdduk did NOT disappoint! The staff was friendly and patient while I navigated the unfamiliar menu and the meal exceeded expectations! There are several options to add if you like more variety. The portions are definitely large so bring a friend or plan for leftovers! (Unless you're a famous mukbanger or competitive eater lol) I guess it speaks for itself that I've already come back less than a week later and dragged my boyfriend with. YUM!
Sigh.. we ordered via ubereats several times and they have messed up on our order EVERY single time without a fail. Don't bother including order notes..they completely ignore them. And there are always missing items.. i get a stomachache every time i eat here but i always blamed it on the spiciness. Today we ordered it mild, and everyone in our household got a stomachache. We noticed they have never passed a health inspection with anything higher than a B and that is a little disturbing. We probably won't be ordering or eating here anymore.

This is our first time here at this restaurant, and we can tell the food is going to be good even before we order it, because I saw some Korean grandparents here and that's always an important indicator. We got the spicy octopus pot and the fried shishamo . The soup was very flavorful and not too spicy. Will for sure come back for other dishes
If you like the chewy korean spicy rice cake dish, you will love it! It is bit spicy so I recommend ordering the rice dishes as a side. The portion was good enough to be shared and service as good as well.
The traditional way of Korean style spicy octopus soup. No so fancy just like the original taste. For two people it is perfect share one small soup.
생일날 부모님 모시고 일부러 리버사이드에서부터 나갔는데 7/2일에 아무 이유 설명 없이 문이 닫혀있어서 허탕치고 다른 허접한데 가서 먹었습니다. 부모님께서 맛있다고 하시니 다음에 다시 가보려고 합니다. 그땐 꼭 문이 열려있길 바랍니다.
