Amazing food with delicious spices. This place is a favourite of ours which we don’t visit often enough. Generally we dine when we have a show at the Lyric Theatre. This visit the show started 7pm and the restaurant on a Wednesday doesn’t open until...6pm which is quite tight for a pre-theatre dinner. We got there early and decided what we wanted from the menu out the front so we informed them of our show and ordered as we were seated. They were so accommodating. Food came out quickly and we were out the door at 6:35pm. Very rushed, but yummy and so worth it. We parked at 201 Sussex St (Wilson Parking) and I believe it’s the closest car-park to the harbour. Very easy access. Staff is very welcoming friendly. Before going to the theater, my friends and I decided to have dinner at Zaaffran. I was pleased to discover that they had a special vegan section on the menu with options for both appetizers and mains. I chose poories for my starter and a delicious chickpea and potato curry for my main dish. The restaurant also had gluten-free options for my friend who has celiac disease. In addition to meat dishes, Zaaffran offered a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options.
The ambience at this restaurant is fantastic and the service is exceptional. It's the perfect spot to enjoy delicious food, tasty drinks, and the friendliest service. Being waited on by Vijay was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for both casual and formal dining, especially for those who appreciate great views and top-notch service along with fantastic food. It's definitely a favorite on my list.

I was thoroughly impressed by this upscale Indian restaurant. Located in a prime spot with stunning views of Darling Harbour, the food is delicious with beautiful presentation and a range of mild to medium spice levels to suit everyone. The menu offers a variety of options to explore different textures and flavors. It's a perfect place to take someone for a special occasion, especially at night.
We enjoyed their special vegetarian and non veg Thalia's which included variety of delicious items. Restaurant is located in Darling Harbour side area so if you sit in the balcony you can enjoy a great view of the harbour and fireworks if you go there...on Satureday...staff is very courteous, very good service too. We all had a wonderful time.
Great ambience and amazing service. This is the place to go for delicious food and great cocktails. Friendly and attentive service too. Highly recommend this restaurant for dining with small or large groups. Great views and a bonus to see the fireworks at 7pm and again at 9pm. Definitely a favourite to add to our list of places to eat.
The menu at this restaurant offers just one vegan appetizer and approximately three vegan main courses. There are more options for lacto-vegetarians. While the prices are on the higher side, the restaurant's prime location with a view of the harbor makes up for it.
