I've visited Z&L's two days in a row now. On the first day, I had the Sundae with brisket and pulled pork, which I would rate a 9.5. I've lived in the area for many years and had never visited this restaurant until now. Their hours can be a bit inconvenient for those looking to grab a meal after work, especially since they sometimes run out of food by the time dinner rolls around due to their popularity. However, I have to say that their brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken are absolutely phenomenal! The sides – BBQ beans, coleslaw, mac and cheese, and BBQ sauces – are also excellent. Dang. This place does it right. I’d give 6 stars if I could. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich lunch special with coleslaw and a drink for $13.99. Not only was the pulled chicken perfectly cooked and delicious, but the price was great and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and I couldn’t believe the speed. The service was honestly faster than any fast food restaurant. The place was also very clean and well organized. Looking forward to coming back for lunch and dinner!

We live nearby and have dined here several times. We used to really enjoy this restaurant, but the quality of the ribs has declined. It seems like the ribs were better trimmed before; however, during our last three visits, we noticed larger pieces of cartilage and excess fat that could have been removed. If you're looking for delicious BBQ then look no further. Zach and Lou's is always so consistent in flavor and they're always friendly. Portions are well sized and worth every penny. My husband loves the porkzilla and I always get a meat with 2 sides. The Mac n cheese is a perfect accompaniment as well as the Cole slaw. And their corn bread is moist and delicious.

This place is a gem! I ordered a brisket sandwich and my hubby got the pulled pork sandwich, came with cold slaw and we ordered bake beans and potato salad. Everything was mouthwatering and delicious, meat melts right in your mouth, flavors were amazing!! Service was friendly and welcoming.Dietary restrictions: Nut free

I am so happy we discovered this place! The brisket and ribs delicious! Mac n cheese is done perfectly and the collard greens are full of soul. The service was excellent we will be back again for the pork belly!Food: 5/5
