This is not the place for a good time. I'm writing this in Spanish because, as part of the Latin community, I want to share my disappointing experience during the several years I've lived in St. Paul. The service was terrible; they rushed us to finish our meal, even though they charge for table usage. The waitress insisted we order more and more, and despite us still enjoying our first course, she became impatient and brought us the bill while other tables continued to occupy their spaces for a longer time without ordering any food or drinks. Unfortunately, this attitude seemed to be directed only at our table, the one with Latin patrons. It's truly a shame.
John is truly an outstanding individual. As a frequent visitor at Zambonis, I consistently witness him going above and beyond to assist others while excelling as an exceptional server—especially impressive coming from someone with his background in bartending. Today, I noticed him kindly opening a door for a man in a wheelchair, who was very grateful for the gesture. John is an incredibly humble person who genuinely cares for the well-being of others. We could certainly use more people like him in the world!
I absolutely love this place! A local recommended it to me while I was visiting, and I couldn't be happier with the suggestion. I ordered the Antipasto Salad, and it was absolutely delicious! The Italian dressing was so fantastic that I had to go back and get the salad a second time before leaving town! The owners are incredibly friendly as well. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant if you're in Downtown St. Paul!
Having just moved to St. Paul last month, we discovered Zamboni's Pizza while browsing through reviews. We ordered a salad and the Zamboni pizza, and it was fantastic! The pizza was cooked just the way we like it—with fresh sausage, pepperoni, plenty of delicious vegetables, and perfectly melted cheese. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The medium pizza is the perfect size for sharing, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The host and chef learned that we were celebrating a special occasion and went out of their way to make us feel special. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was delightful, and the service was excellent.
The salad smelled rotten when I opened it and my daughter can't eat it. That was supposed to be her dinner. It's disgusting. My husband had to go get something for her somewhere else because it would be dangerous to feed this to a child. So we wasted$35 total on the order. I can't believe people serve rotten food and charge for it!
