A perfect Pakistani restaurant..which had all the dishes a local would love to eat.It had everything available in menu ranging from charcoal grilled tikkas to kulfis.i ordered grilled platter , chicken karahi , beef seekh kababs naans and kulfi.Grilled platter had lamb tikkas,chicken tikkas, beef seekh kababs and beef tikkas. Lamb tikkas were just a bit not uncooked . Chicken tikkas were very tasty but the pick of them all was beef seekh kababs.they were so tasty that I ended up ordering more and taking home with me.naans were fresh and soft . Karahi was just a bit spicy but we neutralised it by raita chatni. And kulfi offered just the right taste too..I am very glad that I took my chances a...
Service was excellent could not fault the service, very polite and accommodating. Bought voucher from Groupon, for 4 people for $30 which included 2 curries and 4 serves of rice, the currie servings were very small (small as in enough for only two people in total). Not sure if it was because it was a Groupon deal but was not very impressed with serving size nor the flavour was there for me. After sides and drinks I don't feel this was much of a deal as was like paying full price anyway, I wouldn't recommend for a meal but at least the customer service was there.
I have fallen in love with this restaurant. The mantu is by far the best around. The wrappers are so delicate and they are made with great care. The chicken tikka grill is seriously tasty and the qabuli with lamb is amazing. The sheer brinj (rice pudding) is made with rose water and nuts and is the best! (sorry mum) They do takeaway as well as dine in and a buffet with different entrees and mains each week. The people who run this place are really nice. It is a bit of a drive if you are not in the area but totally worth it.
Wow. What a great little restaurant. It was really hard to choose from the range of exotic Afghani & Pakistani dishes on the menu. This was just the beginning of a meal that offered wonderful taste sensations from beginning to end. The food was freshly prepared the Lassi drinks through to the delicious tandoori, vegetable dishes, salads and melt in the mouth lamb main course. I visited here using a scoopon and was incredibly impressed! Zamzam offer a good menu of cuisines from Pakistan and Afghanistan at reasonable prices. The food is amazing and you will feel incredible full at the end of your meal. There are many traditional meals on offer that anyone will enjoy. Going on a week night the restaurant was quite quiet, but clean and ambient. The service provided by the owner was the best I have received in Brisbane. Overall a really good restaurant.
Good food in a pleasant environment, including the video screen ;-). Good service, not too intrusive, the manager is a nice and friendly guy. Food is really good of it's kind. Good specials...the Afghan meatballs are excellent and the rice dishes outstanding. Not over priced, not cheap though. All round recommendation.
Really enjoyed the Pakistani Haleem with beef and lentils, not so impressed with the Kofta. The tomato gravy didn't really look or taste like anything with tomatoes and the meatballs were plain. But overall the food was good and we will definitely be back and try different things next time.
A good variety of Pakistani and Afghan dishes and the food is cooked authentic. We had the mixed grilled and a couple of curries. Yum! The atmosphere is casual and relaxing and the owners are very friendly. Reasonably priced. We will be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Wow. The food was awesome. The service was great, very attentive staff. If you want to try exotic food. Come to the buffet night. I left so full and happy. The most amazing curries and meat dishes. Plus Rices and salad.
