Really impressed with everything here. Environs were warm, server was welcoming and precise with descriptions and answering questions about the food. The plate of baba ganoush, muhammara, hummus was excellent, as was the breads that were used to dip in them. The weakest may have been the muhammara, but that's because I'm used to a local muhammara that I've had for years. The bread was moist, soft, and nicely leavened. The falafel salad was good perhaps a bit too much red onion in the salad, but the leaves and the ingredients were quite fresh. The falafel was nice and tender, though perhaps a tad underflavored. This is my favorite place to go for halal food. Their pitas and variety of dips are a must-have, especially the hummus, babaganoush, and Muhammara. My husband enjoys their meat lover's flatbread because it can be hard to find halal pepperoni and sausage. I always make sure to ask the server to ensure that the flatbread is well-done, as it can sometimes get soggy. The Za'atar fries are amazing, and my kids really enjoyed the bacon burger and shawarma. We have visited multiple times and have never had to wait for a table. We also came here for iftar during Ramadan and were given dates. The service is excellent.
Love this place. Food was delicious for all our dishes. The Zatar fries was freshly made and it was so crispy and absolutely delicious (you have to wait for the best). The chicken kebab was moist and flavorful. The salmon kebab and white rice was cooked just right. Lamb chop was moist and delicious. My friend can't stop talking about it as she takes every bite. Falafel was crispy and pairs nicely with sauce. Strawberry lemonade and mint tea are my go to. Prices are reasonable. Service was good. I usually call ahead to check if they have tables available before going.
Zatar Cafe Bistro exceeded my expectations! The service was incredible, especially their accommodation for me and my young son. We enjoyed delicious food; the smoked salmon sandwich, Chicken Shawarma, and Biscoff cheesecake, with coffee and a hot chocolate. The Middle Eastern food at this restaurant is fantastic. I went for brunch and loved everything from the mint teas, Yemeni tea and coffee, hummus and baba ganoush, halloumi egg sandwich, scrambled eggs Yemeni style, and the pitas and breads. It was really busy on a Sunday, but the service staff were doing their best to keep up.
The food at Zatar Cafe Bistro is top-notch. I believe that I will never be disappointed at this charming restaurant. The dessert choices are incredibly delicious. The coffee is excellent and some of the baristas make it even more special. I am excited to try their Chicken Kebabs.
Absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh. Never had a pita so amazing... Warm, fresh and soft. So fabulous with the different dips. I had a rice bowl with chicken that was simply scrumptious. Very reasonably priced as well, with friendly and helpful staff. Loved it!
Have dined at this local cafe several times. Love their Yemen latte with oat milk, Fasuliya (spiced bean and tomato stew), zatar labneh flat bread. The spreads are also very good. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
