I went inside to place my to go order. I waited and waited at the pickup counter as others were in and out. I finally asked the girl pulling the orders from the kitchen where my order was. She said she had called it already which I hadn't heard standing right there. She treated like I was trying to scam her. The older cashier who rang me up knew I was there all the time and told her I needed my order. I even gave her my receipt. Reluctantly, she asked the kitchen to remake my order. I asked to speak with the mgr and she said she was the mgr. I thought it might be thoughtful for them to stick in a couple extra chicken fingers for my 20 plus minute wait and she replied no!!!! I can't do that....
I am a manager of a restaurant and can tell you that whoever the manager of this place is, is a sorry excuse of a person. We ordered a 10 pc traditional wing (which is very obviously on the menu) and they offered to make it a meal with fries and a drink, we agreed and received a 5 pc wing with fries and bread and when I spoke with the manager he just kept repeating "we don 't have a 10 piece on our menu "how you promote someone to manage that doesn 't know their own menu is beyond me. I 'm a huge fan of Zaxby 's but I won 't be coming to the Lakeland location again knowing this is the leadership it 's under.
Our first visit to Zaxby's came after a long day with our son at Florida Polytechnic. I was delighted to discover a menu featuring fried chicken, grilled wings, and chicken salads that catered to the different tastes of the three of us at the table. The young man at the counter was very patient with us, as we were out-of-towners. Although we could see the effects of inflation in the prices, overall it was a wonderful experience. We all enjoy spicy food and can say that the hottest sauce we tried was definitely manageable for us.
the five chicken finger meal. I wanted to get my cherry coke and it tasted awful. they like to refill it with cherry coke from behind theke. I called to get my meal and after picking up and going to find a clean table, I noticed there was no knife. had to go back to the counter to get a knife. returned to my place and began to eat and chicken fingers were soggy and pommes were not cooked all the way through. TWICE my girlfriend goes and gets us food. TWICE i asks for wings and things. Girl at the window says they dont do meals and I end up with something completely different. How hard is it to get the order right when you say the literal exact thing the menu says. Terrible workers.
Family pack. 20 chicken fingers, with fries. Side of fried pickles and side of cheddar balls. Feed my family of 5 adults for $41 awesome food good value. Definitely would eat at Zaxby's when we return to florida
eating was fresh and hot. the staff was polite and efficient. the worst part when zaxbys is how they bag her. they will do their best to put everything in a bag, even if it is up down and spilled in the bag

The food at this location is consistently excellent. The blonde manager in blue is always friendly and assists the staff when they’re busy.
