Dinner for four adults. We did not think that we ordered too much food, yet we barely finished what we did order. Some of the servings may look small (this is not an American restaurant), but we easily divided each plate or bowl among us...all, with each of us getting a decent taste of everything. We did not have any appetizers; a good thing, as it turned out. All of the dishes were served hot, all flavourful and appropriately spiced. Cheetah in bottles replaced the unavailable tap version. The seating outside is basic. It can be a bit noisy if the neighbours are, but outside fresher air goes well with all of the food.
Always a very good meal, large portions, good price. We had the Butter Chicken, Chili Chicken, Pulao Rice and Zeera Biryani, Zeera Special Naan and Garlic Naan. The Butter Chicken was a little on the sweet side and the Biryani would have been better with...more than 1 shrimp, but all were otherwise delicious and try the Zeera Naan like a chicken pizza and dips great in the Butter sauce! Recommended if you are in the area. Ordered by phone and it was ready in 20 minutes.
10 years ago this was the best Indian restaurant in durham. now it is a dazzling glory of the former itself. the mulligatawny suppe is watery and served in a regular food container! the butter chicken tastes like campbells tomatensuppe with sugar. the lamb vindaloo is full of chili pepper? this restaurant was exceptional at that time. oh, how the mighty have fallen! try mumbai grill in ajax and save her money. very disappointed by pickering.
The food arrived cold, maybe not all the restaurants fault but we are less than 5 minutes away. Portions were small, the chicken was overcooked and really badly burnt on the outside. Great food and service. Tandoori chicken was very nice. Naan and roti fresh and fluffy. Rice pudding and Gulab Jamun for desert was very tasty
It was just a great experience. Chicken and spices just filled my nostrils... Thanks to the staff. My left overs won't make it home!
Chicken biriyani taste is not good....small portion literally 4 little cubes of chicken with rest all rice. And found a hair awful Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We enjoyed a beautiful evening on their patio with a delicious butter chicken, fish pakora and a veggie curry. Yum, yum, yum.
