We 've been to Zelda 's several times, and we love this place. When you walk in, it 's like going back in time. The bar is the first thing you 'll see. It 's dark due to low lighting. To the left is the small dining room where you can sit in a wooden booth along the wall or at a 4-top table. There is an ivy-covered lattice type wall adorned with colored Christmas lights that separate the bar from the dining room. The servers are super nice and attentive as they keep your drinks full. The food, especially the pizza, takes a while, so don 't expect a quick meal. We started with the spinach salad so we could get our veggies. It was so fun to reunite with the great folks who represent Zelda's! When I walked in I was met by an amazing gentleman who gave me such an energetic welcome. While waiting for Zelda's famous pizza, and their meatballs spaghetti, I sipped at some Lipton tea, Grand Marnier which was so yummy, tasty and lit me up! The combo pizza is to savior for! It was so tasty and great... the spaghetti and meatballs were awesome. Lastly, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, love and celebration. Thanks to the great staff of employees, each one of you made my evening great!
This spot is something special. The pizza let me tell you that crust is like nothing I've ever had and the ingredients on the pie are delicious. There were 5 groups waiting before this spot opened and the phone was no stop ringing. Place this old and this busy has to mean something. Give it a try
Still delicious after all these years!. My first time here since 1985 when I was stationed in Sacto during my Air Force days. The pizza, the service and the nonflashy decor were as perfect as I remember them being back in the day. What a delicious treat and a nice trip down memory lane!

Thinner crust than normal. Almost paper thin. Been coming here for quite awhile and never experienced this. I understand deep dish and thick crust is different. But the crust at Zeldas has always been thicker.
Great pizza. Salads are ample size wise and pair well with the deep dish pizza. Bar tender Erik is awesome. Fabulous service. Building could use a remodel but it's clean and functional.

Zelda's has been a staple in my families life since 1989 and we have never had a bad experience. The greatest pizza ever in Sacramento!
