We ordered fried wontons that were severely overcooked—they were tough and lacked any filling. Our sesame chicken was also overcooked and tough. The egg rolls were extremely small, mostly just wonton wrappers with little to no filling. This is the second time we've had a disappointing experience. We’ll be trying somewhere else next time.
I can only describe this restaurant as perpetually inconsistent. The wonton soup was excessively salty and lacked any vegetables. The egg rolls were underfilled. If they can’t master these fundamental dishes, it’s difficult to have confidence in the rest of their Americanized Chinese cuisine.
Yesterday I ordered the BBQ ribs with bones and shrimp fried rice from Zenbu Chinese, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered the same items today. The menu at Zenbu Chinese offers excellent choices that never disappoint.
My partner and I both tried the Kung Pao Tofu, and it was among the best fried and seasoned tofu I've enjoyed in a long time! The dining area is ideal for a quick meal, with comfortable seating. Thank you for the delicious food! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I ordered garlic chicken with broccoli and rice for pick-up on my way home. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found that I only received the broccoli and rice—there was no chicken at all. What a huge letdown!
I got food poisoning from Zenbu Chinese. It’s terrible that they refused to give me a refund. This is bad business—avoid this place and consider reporting them to the health department.
The best Chinese cuisine in the East Greenbush/Rensselaer area! The service is prompt, the prices are fair, and the food is absolutely delicious. The quality is outstanding.
