Zio's Twelve 21 Pizzeria

We usually order the Zios special pizza, which has been our favorite over the years (we've eaten at least 50 of them!). I can honestly say that this was the best pizza we’ve ever had there. I told Darren, “It’s hard to improve on perfection, but this pizza did just that.” It was loaded with generous portions of hearty vegetables and all the best meats. The crust was crispy and light, making it truly perfect. Today, we also tried the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, which came with a side salad. We just had lunch at the new Zios Twelve 21, and wow, what an experience! It’s under new ownership, and everything was fantastic! I was craving pizza, but our server Dawn recommended her Wednesday special: a large pizza for the price of a medium, just $9.99. We decided to take her suggestion and ordered the sausage pizza, and it was incredible! The crust was exactly how I like it—thin and crispy. The cheese was top-notch, and the sauce was just right. I'm thrilled to have this place nearby; no more trips to Port Charlotte for pizza—this is my new favorite spot!
