Booked a table for a catch up with my friend, arrived 5 minutes before our booking. Stood waiting for someone to show us to our table. Someone who I assume was front of house came over to us and just stared at us waiting for us to speak. I mentioned we had a table booked for two, but he just shook his head and said there was no booking. I showed him my confirmation from opentable. He looked around and then walked off assuming we should follow. So we did. We sat down right next to the kitchen and were left there. No one offered drinks. During our second visit to this restaurant chain, we were very pleased. It perfectly matched the enjoyable experience we had recently at the Chelmsford Zizzi. The location at Gloucester Quays is also excellent. This time, we tried some appetizers, and we were delighted to revisit the experience. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and highly efficient. We will definitely return to this restaurant whenever we're in the Gloucester Quays area.
This is one of the best vegan meals I have ever had! I ordered the aubergine and pesto pizza, which was the perfect size and absolutely delicious. I also had a side of sweet potatoes. My partner ordered the spaghetti pomodoro with vegan cheese and added meatless meatballs, which she said were also tasty. Overall, we were very impressed and will definitely be returning to Zizzi's soon.
It's great to see a vegan menu that is so accommodating and flexible. There were also plenty of options for three course meals that were perfect for celebrating.

When we arrived at Zizzi, their booking system was not functioning, and they had no record of our table reservation.
