We came here for a Father 's Day lunch. No draft beers but the bottled beers we had were lovely and cold. The building is stunning a beautiful old church which was what inspired us to book here in the first place. The staff were very attentive and really friendly, and the food was lovely. We were delivered an extra dessert by accident and rather than let it go to waste, we were given it for free. We really did have a lovely time, but what marred it was the fact they they take payment by card only which for us is a huge no no. £125 for the final bill and a £10 tip was on the little plate but it was refused because we only take cards oh, but we take tips in cash . I was extremely surprised by the way the waitress treated me at this restaurant. My partner had requested a meal with an ingredient omitted, and initially we were told it would not be a problem. However, after waiting 20 minutes for our food, the waitress returned and said they couldn't accommodate the request. Despite this, my partner tried the dish but didn't like it, so it was sent back and a simple Margherita was requested instead. This took another 20 minutes to arrive, by which time I had already finished eating. I explained to the waitress that the whole point of dining out is to enjoy a meal with your company, but she still charged us £15.90 for a dish that was essentially just bread...
Ridiculously hot inside. No Aircon. Very uncomfortable due to temperature. Made it so none of us wanted to stay for desserts. Also, tried to use Tesco clubcard vouchers to pay part of the bill, but told could not as there were more than six of us. Appeared to take great pleasure in telling us we could not use them. Only went there as we had the vouchers and there doesn 't seem to be any logical reason why they could not be used. 'its in the small print ' the waitress said with glee in her voice. We went to Zizis for a birthday celebration, we had a range of meals, all very well cooked and the waitress was very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely surrounding in an old church. You can see the meals being cooked. all the meals came out on time and at the same time. Well worth the visit for the quality and standard of the meals. The only drawback was the cost of the meal which I thought were on the expensive side.

Our party of 11 had a great experience at Zizzi. We were all pleased with the food and the atmosphere, although there were a couple of minor issues. My pizza was only lukewarm, but the waiter promptly replaced it with a hot one. Additionally, we were surprised to learn that they don't accept cash payments. Despite these small inconveniences, we all agreed that we would happily dine at Zizzi again.
Our starter was delayed compared to the other dishes. Some customers had their drinks forgotten. However, the biggest issue was with the salmon risotto I ordered. The dish had very little salmon and was mostly made up of whole prawns, at least 8 of them. As someone allergic to seafood, this made the dish inedible for me. The management blamed the waiter, but I don't believe it was his fault.
My experience was as a take out. My food was waiting for me and I was 15 min early. Two pizzas ‘ rustics ’ and very small one spaghetti bolognese and a large chips. All the food was cold, the large chips weighed 100g only!! Very poor wouldn’t go back, I should state that I collected and this for £50 Keith Coghill
Hi unfortunately not able to write a review as even though the restaurant is only a quarter full they are not taking walk ins for even one person sure there are good reasons but advice to book ahead !

Always have a fantastic time here! Food and serve always spot on. Beautiful location, cannot believe it’s in a beautiful church!
