The location of this Harvester is great, sitting right on the Port Solent marina waterfront. Free parking is also a bonus. We arrived 15 minutes early, the table wasn't ready so we went to bar for a drink. One disappointment there the bar had run out of Doom Bar bitter and no suitable alternative was available. The table wasn't the greatest, located adjacent to the disabled toilet facility but as the place was very fully, there seemed little point in asking to be relocated. family celebration and while the company was great eating not so. they had better here and had expected more of my calamari (dry and missing) and rustica smokey chorizo pizza. others felt the same. highlight for those who chose were the deserts of ice and cheesecake. personal friendly only eating not so at this opportunity.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal out at The Harvester, however I would strongly suggest that you book through the restaurant direct as our booking hadn't reached them, we were very lucky that a table was available for us as the time we wanted, any later we wouldn't have been able to get seated as we're fully booked!
enjoy visiting our daughter birthday as salatable and good main courses. the only complain we have is that the steak in the glasses was quite chewing, but only edible. very good service.

Visiting Portsmouth and returned to the Harvester for our 4th visit. We enjoy the Salad Bar and the food is always to our liking. Sure to visit again in the future.
excellent meals, fast service, friendly helpful staff and a great atmosphere from a restaurant that was busy, although it was quite early in the evening.
