went there on a cold rainy day and was made to feel most welcome. the waitress spoke better english than my limited french and talked us through the lunch menu. we went with the plate de jour and it turned out to be a great choice. they was a delicious starter of duck pate followed by fish or braised beef with fresh vegtables, my description however does not do it justice, presentation and taste were both outstanding. the desert was a deconstructed apple crumble with cream. the recommended wine was reasonable price, we are now looking for it in wine shops to buy some. if we were in the area longer it would be seeing a lot more of us
This restaurant is in the newer part of Socoa between the motorway and the old port and offers modern decor. It is near Lidl. Tapas are a speciality as are Basque dishes. We chose a set price menu and started with tapas one each of a wide variety of delicacies. For my main course I had chipirons baby squid in a sauce delicious. My wife had a fairly standard steak. Desserts were again a selection this time only 3 differennt small ones. Several tables had been reserved, always a good sign. By the time we left there was not a spare table inside. Admittedly it was a Saturday night but it was end September. Service was efficient.
a client took me to this restaurant this noon. A restaurant facade that doesn’t attract attention, but really not. a location number in an area. What a mistake if I hadn’t been there. A nice staff, a nice dishes. Fresh products. The presentation is that of a gourmet. And the skinny of the dish of the day was exceptional. It wasn’t even a dish on the map. I haven’t eaten such a good fish in the restaurant for a long time. Frankly bravo. There are still people who work well, who love their business and have the desire to see their happy customers who enjoy....
Don’t be put off by the setting of this restaurant- in the middle of a little commercial centre near Urrugne. Go in and enjoy some superb cooking and a friendly and efficient service. We opted for the Pinxto tapas style menu, giving us a range of small but filling dishes from the Basque region. I’d recommend this, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. I’ve included a photo of the dishes we ate. Also the bottle of delicious local red wine. Highly recommended!

we are never disappointed in the alarm to eat in this restaurant, on noon there is a lunch formula at a more than correct price and it is very good. I greatly congratulate the cuisto and the servers are very friendly I strongly recommend
Dîner en famille, tout était bon (nuggets maison du menu enfant, les 2 burgers, confit de canard, salade thai et les sorbets), le service est rapide et le personnel agréable. Un très bon moment sur la terrasse avec la musique d'ambiance.

This place serves very good food, fresh. I had a tartare that was really delicious. The terrace is very nice and service very helpful and kind.
The waitress was very helpful and patient as my French is not good and she had little English. Very near to our apartment so the wine flowed!
