I went to this restaurant with a group of friends. When our starters were brought to the table, they also brought out poppadoms and pickle trays that none of us had ordered. When we asked, the waiter said they were complimentary. However, when our starter plates were cleared, another waiter told us we had been misinformed and that these were actually not free. They ended up adding £28 to our bill for 4 pickle trays (most of which were untouched) and 4 small baskets of broken poppadoms. We felt cheated and will not be coming back. The food was good, but this kind of practice is unacceptable.
The food at this restaurant is decent, but our experience was tainted by one staff member. We visited on Boxing Day as a group of 7 and enjoyed the set menu options. However, the atmosphere was spoiled by an older waiter in a black waistcoat and beard who seemed disinterested and grunted at us. His attitude cost the restaurant a tip of £30, as we were ready to leave 10%. It's a shame, as the other staff members were pleasant. The owner may need to address this issue to prevent future negative experiences.
There are no options on the menu stated as being vegetarian and in the vegetable mains section healthy choice chicken is stated as an option!!! Clearly this is not a vegetable main! This is really off putting as potentially none of the other options in this same section are actually vegetarian, they could be cooked in the same section as meat so this maybe why they are not specified as being veggie? Indian restaurants are normally really good for vegetarians but unfortunately Zoya is not one of them.
Spending 5 days in Yorkshire having travelled from Kent we found the Zoya to be the best Indian restaurant we have ever eaten in. The food, service and ambience were perfect. We were staying at a nearby hotel and found the Zoya on TA and we’re glad we did. We went on the first night of our stay and immediately booked for our last. Both nights were great and we couldn’t believe how busy and popular the restaurant was even at 1900 hours. A credit to Dilly and his staff, please open a Zoya in Kent !!!!

No parking! Must use nearby Lidl car park at own risk! The service was only average, the food was only average. Large menu, lots of choice but overpriced. Similar curries in Bradford are half the cost. Busy main road to look at and a car sales places, so view not good. The decor is nice though and I found the place clean. Plus the naan was nice and light, however ALL the food was way too salty! With plenty of other choice nearby, chances of me going again are quite slim.
Went here as the Toby carvery was closed, not disappointed as came across a right gem. We had traveled over five hours and both Kadeem and depeche were absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious and value for money. I went with their recommendation and didn’t let me down. Well worth a visit.
First time we’ve been since shortly after it opened 9 10 years ago. Staff were so friendly, a good number of them from the moment we walked until we left, service was like you get in Dubai. Food and atmosphere were great. It was only refurbed last month apparently lovely.
Ok but wasn't hugely impressed. Found the curries to be very sweet and the grilled items we had to be a little over done. I wouldn't hurry back
