I booked the premium pasta making masterclass for my partners birthday and I haven't stopped raving about it since. The restaurant was super helpful and accommodated a time change and then a further last minute change. On arrival we were relieved with a warm welcome. We met Chris our host and he made us feel at ease instantly! We were left to relax for a little while with a portion of Zucchini's famous garlic bread and we tried pasta crisps for the first time. We both said we would pick on the crisps throughout the session. But they wete so delicious we ended up eating them all in about 20 mins..... they were fab! The session itself was easy to follow and Chris signposted what we were doing...
I had a wonderful pasta-making experience with my son at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from Chris, along with a drink and some delicious fried pasta and dips. It was a fantastic experience as we learned to make two types of pasta dough and four types of pasta, including gnocchi, from scratch. The restaurant manager taught us all the techniques and tricks for making our own pasta, and the chef even came out to greet us and ask about our preferred sauce types before preparing our pasta into delicious dishes. If I had to be honest the fried potatoes with truffle were undercooked and neither me or my wife could taste any truffle. They were also too oily and over salted. The bacon in the carbonara was very salty and my wife mentioned there was so much pepper added to the dish it added an unpleasant amount of spiciness. I had the fennel sausage pasta dish (number 6 on the menu). I had so much salt in the pasta and the sausage, I couldn’t finish it. I was going to order some ice cream but ended up giving it a miss since the quality of the main dishes was so poor.
We attended the pasta masterclass and it exceeded all our expectations! Chris was truly amazing - friendly, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. The class was enjoyable and the food was absolutely fantastic. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and fun experience, or simply a delicious and affordable meal. If you are a pasta lover you have to visit this place! We were a party of 4 adults and a toddler and every single one of us enjoyed our pasta dish. We booked to go on a weekday but it wasn't that busy. I don't think it's dog friendly though as they have a pasta workshop at the front but other than that we were happy to visit.
Authentic and delicious Italian food. I had the signature 8 hours beef shin and oxtail ragu. Instead of a side dish, I ordered a second main dish, spaghetti and Italian sausage meatball. Very friendly staff, especially Chris. He said the pasta bar also offered pasta cooking classes, which I want to attend.
I had a girls' lunch at this restaurant earlier this week and the food was amazing. The portion sizes were generous and they allow you to take home any leftovers in a takeaway box. The lunch deal offers great value and there are good options for vegans and vegetarians. I will definitely be coming back!
Delicious pasta. Really good service and a great kids menu (I would eat the kids pasta it looks that good). Had the silk handkerchiefs and it was so good. I will be coming back
