Most of the town's restaurants were closed, and we happened on this place by unfortunate accident as Piperade was on the menu and we wanted to try it before leaving the region. Having intended three courses, we left after two, being so disgusted by the low quality of food. The Piperade was served which consisted of a small slice of bacon atop a mound of reheated mixed veg out of a can and not an egg to be seen, nor local pepper to be tasted. We enquired about the lack of egg and were told the we were mistaken in thinking there should be egg in the dish! This was followed by pasta alla carbonara, which did not include garlic nor parmesan, nor crème fraiche, nor very much egg. And the lardons...

a fresh but benevolent welcome, a rich and hearty meal type. not gastronomic or even typical but answers the essentials for a reasonable price. the interior garden is nice, quiet and protected from the very passing road. Very clean toilet. on the right path but be careful not to take the customer only for a change door.
we had a nice stay in zuharpeta enjoy both a community dinner and a community breakfast before starting on our walk of the camino de santiago. nothing special here, dinner had a delicious curry huh, but portions were small overall.

I disagree with the previous comments. We were very welcome. we have lunch in a beautiful terrace on the garden, very pleasant, quiet. good value quality price, homemade fries!
On a recent trip to Paris, some of the best food I ate was here; considering the price (40 euros for a full menu including not only the standard entree,
any service of any dishes of any wines .... and an egg with a badly cooked dish .......!the tenancière monitors its terrace .....
