Our son chose Zuki for his 25th birthday dinner. We had reservations made days in advance, only to wait 25 minutes for our hibachi table. The hostess gave our table to a party of 4. We were a party of 14. We dined upstairs where it was extremely smoky and terrible hot. We waited another hour before our two chefs came to our grill. Our server was nice, but slow. It wasn’t his fault that we were seated incorrectly. He did bring our son a birthday desert which was nice. However for $300 dinner you would expect more. Our entire dinner party left reaking of smoke, there is no exhaust to allow the smoke and fumes to leave. Even downstairs was filled with smoke and hot. Definitely not a ventilated...
Food is not very good and definitely not worth the prices. The servers are all great but the manager guy is rude and the things we heard him saying to one of the employees... OMG I can't believe anyone would think it is okay for a manager to speak down on an employee especially when it has nothing to do with their job, and we've been there 4 different times and each time the same guy manager was being rude saying bad words and just horrible to the employee. This was at the downtown location.
Actually didn't get so far as to eat there. A member of our party is disabled and the elevator was out of service for at least a week and we were getting together for Hibachi (experience and food. Apparently all Hibachi service is upstairs only. Very limited parking as one would expect downtown. Beware if a member of your party has mobility issues! Call ahead and ask if the elevator is working. We will not return.
The first time in this restaurant and the food, service and atmosphere was good. I wasn't a big fan of soup or salad picky dinner), but others enjoyed it in our party. I had the salmon Hibachi it was delicious. I didn't like my salmon being cooked at the end, so I ate most of my rice and vegetables before it was done. I will definitely go back and try again in a smaller group.

My husband, daughter, and I visited last night and had the best time. The waiter was very friendly, accommodating and funny! He made us feel right at home immediately. Then the chef came out to prepare our meals and he was even better. He engaged in conversation with us, put on a great show and made the best tasting food. We will definitely go again!
Located on Main St in Evansville, Indiana this Japanese Hibachi restaurant has great food and service. The interior of the restaurant is tastefully decorated with modern Japanese style. There are two levels with plenty of dining space. There is street parking all the way around the block and a small pafking lot adjacent to the building.
First time trying Zuki on Main St. The decor is awesome. We ate lunch on Friday. The soup was great and so was the crab ragoon with shrimp. I had the lunch box with Let's Get Crazy roll. Some of the best sushi I've ever had. I will definitely be back!!Food: 5/5
No handicap parking. All hibachi tables are upstairs with the elevator not working. Wait staff and cook were great. But, you either need to clean the upstairs bathroom or not allow customers to see it. I won’t be back to see if it is ever cleaned.Food: 4/5

Sushi was laughable. The crunch roll had no crunch. The rolls were ordered, lacked ingredients. This place has always been ok but probably last time we would get sushi there. Waitress was great. Place was dusty as well.
