A rather busy place (even on a Tuesday evening! which is a good sign and the food certainly lived up to expectations. We shared a mixed starter of fried veg and soup, which was excellent. I followed that up with a mildly spiced Paenang curry...and my Partner had a Pad Thai. Both were beautifully presented and full of flavour. It's clear that this is no generic Thai restaurant with bland gloopy sauces. On the contrary, the food is prepared with care and attention to detail and was delicious. Service was prompt, polite and friendly. Can't fault the place, really.
to thailander was the best in the city, unfortunately no longer. the quality and standards have decreased in the course of the years. In portions are small and quite average. few courts we ordered were not on a Friday night. there is a new portion...girls who only speak German and only Thai. it is rude and not a wish, which has a rapport with the customer. service of a restaurant can make their business and also break their business, so it is a very important aspekt beside many other things. very disappointed!
From a very accommodating and warm welcome from the lovely lady to the delicious meals , all this has been a great experience and definitely looking forward to come back. Also got the chance to meet the chef who is really friendly. Ordered the red...curry chicken and it was very successfully made , closest to authentic thai cuisine.
had a pleasant dinner with a friend. the personal is attentive and friendly. the food was delicious as expected and the ambiente was warm and cozy. the prices are somewhat steep. with main courses cost about 30 chf. but for a nice evening it is worth definitiw.
