Food (4/5 stars):I had my first Korean Corn Dog at Zzang Hot Dog Chicken in Oceanside! Their Potato Triple came with sausage, mozzarella, and potato cubes, so it was like eating a corn dog with fries in every bite. I seasoned it with cheddar cheese, spicy sweet chili, and honey garlic. I loved the cheese, potato cubes, and seasonings while the sausage was just okay. This place was pretty good! I love Korean hot dogs so I was excited to try this place out. I'm from Houston TX and they have a place similar to this! This is my cousins fav spots to hit for Korean hot dogs so she wanted us to try it. I felt a bit rushed during my ordering process, which I was confused by because we were the only ones there ordering. Overall the place was alright.
Located on Mission Avenue right next to the theater, this place lets you order at the counter. There are a few seats inside, or you can opt for one of the tables in the common outdoor area. They offer a wide variety of options. I’m generally not a fan of meat on a stick, but I found it surprisingly delicious—especially with the spicy sauce!
The food is great. Great selection of sauces and seasonings. It's original and very tasty. They are reasonably priced too. I am definitely looking forward to coming back here again. Nice little shop with delicious food. Galaxy lemonade is pretty tasty so is the mozzarella sweet potato. Staff were nice and helpful, they accommodated my needs and offered napkins and sauce. No complaints on this visit. Will definitely be back for more hot dogs later.
The corn dogs are very good you can even customize it with the sauces and toppings. I added Cheeto crumbs and it was delicious. There was only 2 workers when i went but they were the sweetest. The food came out fast and the place was nice and clean.
So many unique foods. I hope to eventually try everything on the menu. And the staff was super friendly and offered great suggestions.
