"Do book ahead, as it gets very busy; for good reason!We called in on the way up from the SW, to visit friends in Normandy before going back to the UK, and it was perfect for Lunch.We were warmly greeted, and shown straight to our table. Thank god we booked, all others were taken!I had the chicken terrine, and then a burger, €15.50; great value for money. The terrine was course, served with a sweet onion chutney, and a small salad. Beautiful.For main I had the burger, topped with Emmental cheese and peppercorn sauce. Cooked rare, it was juicy and full of flavour; a touch on the small side, but sufficient for most appetites. I was disappointed when I'd finished it because it was so delicious! I could have eaten two...!I passed on dessert, as I was out for dinner in the evening too.Lovely ladies serving, who were intent on practicing their English; I wanted to practice my French...so we swapped languages! Very friendly and welcoming; a real good laugh.Highly recommended. I will return when next in the area."
