Cool modern looking interior, trying to envelop the Asbury park vibe. While the menu looked very interesting we opted for oysters and appys having to eat so early to take advantage of the oyster happy hour. We had the east coast sampler. Probably should have tried another one and not this. The oysters were so tiny. So glad we didn't pay full price for these. Beef bites were borderline dry. Skip the shrimp roll. 5 small shrimp on a big bun. The lamb spring rolls were very meaty and delicious. A trio of gelato for dessert. Chocolate was amazing. I've been to 100 Steps before, but haven't been here in awhile. The food was just as good as I remembered. The Parker rolls are always a nice touch to start the meal, and we ordered the Yellow Tail Sashimi which was great and I ordered the Bronzino and my husband had the burger both were fantastic!
Writing as I sit here waiting over an hour for our appetizers. Waited 20 minutes to even get water once we were seated. Absolutely unacceptable service, it shouldn't take so long for an appetizer that you don't even need to cook. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Service: 1
From start to finish, amazing! The oysters, bacon wrapped dates, wasabi deviled eggs and the salmon. All absolutely perfect. And don’t forget the Parkerhouse rolls! Top notch service and Jack is so nice!
