I’ve been searching for an Ecuadorian restaurant that serves Chaulafan since the one on Atlantic and Rockaway closed during the pandemic. I usually order Chaulafan with chicken and shrimp, skipping the pork and beef but keeping everything else the same. The food is flavorful and well-seasoned, and the customer service is excellent. The evening manager or owner always greets you warmly and with genuine hospitality. 12 Corazones offers very nice, authentic Spanish cuisine. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delightful. The beer was ice cold, perfectly complementing the dishes. The waitresses were polite and attentive throughout. The menu provided a great variety of options to choose from.

The waitstaff drinks in the same area as the customers, which is very unprofessional. They serve guests while intoxicated and appear to neglect their needs. Furthermore, the food is disappointing—cold, bland, and unappealing.
I love this place. It’s my absolute favorite restaurant on Roosevelt Ave. The food is worth the wait, and the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. Great vibes all day, every day!
The food is fantastic! I mentioned that I’m vegetarian, and they made sure I had something delicious to enjoy. Wonderful staff and an amazing bar.
They impose an extra $4 fee for credit card payments instead of a percentage. I think it's unfair that this isn't disclosed upfront.
