the restaurant has a michelin star, it should mean excellent food and drinks, a pleasant atmosphere and a high quality service. Well, not exactly. the restaurant is in an old and pretty small building, some tables had tablecloths, others had only individual plastic covered. We chose the "discovery menu" which consisted of several dishes – entries, dishes and desserts plus a few small accompaniments. an immediate attraction is provided by the enchanting frame - located in a large, historic building close to the waterfront. we had the top floor almost for us all alone and the atmosphere was irreproachable. the staff was quite friendly, but seemed to miss the expected know-how of a high quality restaurant. the person who served us did not know his wines, and we found the map of the poor wines in his choice of wines with glass. the food was mixed - some dishes were delicious, like the Royal Lobster, and other fish we tried, which were worth 5/5. but not cheap to 45 euros - 50 euros each! this restaurant a star michelin is beautifully appointed and offers excellent service. That's all I can say positive. food was frankly correct, absolutely not a 5 star. neither my wife nor I were very impressed. the wine map was long but difficult to find a wine at a reasonable price. In the end, if you mean that you ate in a starred restaurant michelin in strasburg and that you are willing to pay 2 to 3 times what other restaurants offering better cuisine will charge you, go ahead. four of us have dinner on the 3rd floor with a view of the kitchen I highly recommend! we chose the tasting at the blind with chords and wines and we were not disappointed. each course was cleverly prepared and delicious. the service was professional and attentive. If you are open to the surprises of the menu, try "kitchen space" on the 3rd floor next to the kitchen. It is less formal and more fun to watch the cook prepare dishes and views on strasburg. We loved the menu and they asked what they didn't like to eat. They speak English, excellent service and good gourmet.

After having service in 1741, you'll want a service like this all the time. culinary tastes were excellent. food very well presented. The wine suggestion is at the rendezvous. the interior decor is impressive. However. The service was irreproachable. 1741 is impressive. You should try it.
