The vegetables are always crisp and fresh, with plenty of options to satisfy any vegan. Although I'm not vegan, I can appreciate the variety they offer! However, the true star of the menu is their grilled cheese and soup! The bread is thick and buttery, loaded with cheese. Honestly, it's the best grilled cheese I've ever had. If you get the chance, definitely try their jalapeño cheddar bread—trust me, you won't regret it! Just one half is more than enough to satisfy. And the taco soup? It's bursting with flavor! Their freshly made old-fashioned lemonade is simply the best. More importantly, the owner and the staff were incredibly kind and patient, providing us with excellent service and accommodating our dietary needs. They even kindly remade my hamburger free of charge because I’m allergic to garlic and onion, which are included in the seasoning for their burgers. The flavor was amazing—if only I weren't allergic to those ingredients! No worries, though; they made me a delicious burger topped with cheese and perfectly sautéed mushrooms. I’d rate this place a perfect 10 out of 10 and would definitely eat here again.

Get the BLT and the banana pudding at 1806 General Store—you won’t regret it! The first time I tried it was when Mane on Main ordered lunch in, and I couldn’t stop craving it on my next visit. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see a few young women cooking everything up right there. Maybe someone was working in the back kitchen, but those ladies are clearly doing an excellent job. The menu at 1806 General Store truly offers some standout dishes!

Stopped for cup of coffee, lady said it was 27 cents. I kept asking her, How Much because I couldn't believe it. Another lady near the counter paid for the coffee, what a place!!! They are open Friday night till 8. Super nice staff! Can't wait to come back! But coffee for 27 cents, unheard-of!!!!
The food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly! This restaurant, situated in the square in Livingston, is an excellent place to eat. I especially love their banana pudding. Thank you, everyone!
Lacks character. Service was nonexistent. Very limited options. It honestly felt like being herded like cattle. A lot of show but little substance.
The food is great, but I would advise against going within an hour of closing time. They tend to run out of many menu items by then.
