I have visited many restaurants, yet never have I been so badly treated. One of my friends had specific dietary restrictions. This is a person who always explains very politely his requirements and is ready to accept that which can be offered and is never demanding, if no solution is available he also accepts to just accmpany us while we eat, When he explained his request the chef of the restaurant came out and was as unpolite as possible, I have never seen such a reckless way of treating customers. I was a bit apprehensive dining here because of the mixed reviews, but the 4 of us liked the look of the French inspired international menu and were certainly not disappointed!Between us we had 12 of the 16 menu options and all of the dishes were both interesting and well prepared, and (wonder or wonders) they even arrived with what most non-French diners tend to regard as an acceptable amount of seasonal vegetables (as opposed to the usual none!). The presentation may have been a little over the top for my preference, but added to the enjoyment of the meal and conversation. Still I do wonder if the chef (who seems to be the owner) could keep it up if they were really busy?Service also charm...
small detour of dijon to enjoy this good table again. always as pleasant, despite a reduced card cause stock break. but it's the tax law and there's no better evidence. a charpie, like everywhere, cigarette smoke ruins the pleasure of the nose. Even taking refuge inside, smoke continues. the terrace is impractical because synonymous with smoke and some, too dependent, must spoil these beautiful flavors at each dish. Too bad. but keep your chef, your kitchen is simply. Very well. Thank you.
We selected this small restaurant at random - it was early and empty at the time. We were lucky as it subsequently filled with reservations, so it seemed we had got lucky.The owner / chef is from an alpine area of France and the quirky decor looked like acquisitions from travels. Still don't understand the name ... The young waiter was very helpful with translations and wine selection and the food was very good.
We were in Clamecy just out of season, roaming the side streets and came across this wonderful little restaurant. The presentation of the food was stunning, as was the flavour. Our young waiter was very helpful translating the menu and provided excellent service. The restaurant is small and cosy a great French feel to it. The menu was limited (as expected for a set price) but still provided a good variety.
What a great find. Meal was excellent all beautifully presented and served by the charming waiter. We sat outside on the veranda which was surrounded by flowers. We were all spoilt for choice, once we had chosen no-one disappointed, ages ranged from 6 to 60 plus and we all came away complet and happy. With every course being loved by all ending with a pot of sweets..
