Used to be my regular Burger shop in Strasbourg. Went their each Friday for lunch. During Covid it was closed for a year and then reopened under new ownership. In a nutshell, the meat of my chicken burger was dry and burned on one side, the french fries were undercooked. On top, they started playing loud techno music. Ventilation seems to have been turned off, all my clothes smell like oil. I hurried up and finished my plate. Sorry for the once nice restaurant.
Nice place but terrible service. The guy at the cashier was rude and you could understand that he couldn’t care less when I placed the order. When I asked for extra well done burger and a non-carbonated orangeade, he seemed annoyed by my request. He also forgot the fries from my order and when I reminded him, he seemed annoyed again. Of course the fries we got were burned. Burger was tasty but for sure overpriced.
My visit to the restaurant 231 East Street left me with a feeling. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service ok, however, the quality of the burgers was quite ok. The flavors and presentation had a touch of originality. The prices were low compared to the quality offered. Despite this, the variety of burgers was interesting and the staff was friendly. In summary, a decent experience.

Ordinary bread no originality in sauces, fries as dry as a frozen fries, frankly go eat a burger at the best france's workman in Beaubourg on bets, you will know what a burger of exeption (I don't aim at paris) in case of chauvinism. frankly surprised! we took the student formula for €8 with fries, drink cheese or hamburger and it’s really super generous, we got a big portion of fries and the burger and it was really good and packed well
This was a reliable guilty pleasure for years on my visits to Strasbourg. They’ve clearly cut cost rather than keeping the quality, now feels like eating cardboard and I put most of it in the bin
A little long delay but the burgers and the place both justify the wait. I recommend beer to accompany the burger. It's the only restaurateur in the area to offer you one of this brand.
